First, the pleasant cycling trail from Kranjska Gora leads us to the Nordic centre Planica, which hosts the best ski jumpers of the world every year. Then we take the bike to the leap of the largest ski jump in the world! We descend back to the valley and continue our journey at a leisurely pace below Ponce towards the hut in the Tamar Valley (1110 m), where there is a spectacular view of the surrounding peaks, among which is also the symbol of Slovenian mountaineering! We stop at the cottage and take time for a break and a snack. Afterward, we take an enjoyable descent back to Kranjska Gora.
